I began writing after many years as a performing artist – an actress and singer – and am happy to bring those years of crafting characters and storytelling into my writing life, as well as in my author consulting work. I'm a former recipient of a Rocky Mountain Women’s Institute Fellowship, and much of my writing career focuses on the stories I grew up with as the proud first generation daughter of immigrants. Currently, I'm completing my first middle grade novel, Tangled Chimes, a multi-generational coming-of-age story. My work has been published in the Saturday Evening Post, University of Denver Journal, Salon.com, Gaia, Tablet, Kveller, and in a number of anthologies. I'm also an author marketing and platform building consultant. My clients have been featured in "Fresh Air with Terry Gross," PBS Newshour, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Colorado Matters, Common Ground, and more. When not writing, I practice as much yoga as I can. I'm the proud mother of three wonderful teen-age daughters, two dogs, one cat, and is married to my best friend, poet and photographer Jack Greene. I live in Longmont, Colorado, with a constant view of the Rocky Mountains.
